Scottish laird bringing together three companies to ensure Celtic Renewables’ success

In Scotland, The Herald reports Western laird Donald Houston of Ardnamurchan Estates who has substantial investments in Ardnamurchan Distillery, Woodlands Renewables and Celtic Renewables is bringing the three companies together to ensure the success of Celtic’s new biorefinery. The one million liter per year facility is the first of five that are planned to produce biochemicals and biofuels from whisky distillery waste and has attracted GBP47 million in investment already. Woodlands will pre-process waste from the Ardnamurchan Distillery that will then be piped to Celtic’s biorefinery for processing
