In Indonesia, the Antara news agency reports that the government has set the market index price for biodiesel at $1.09 per liter plus transport cost beginning April 1, 7.77% higher than the price set for March. The higher price for April reflects the higher price for crude palm oil together with the $85 per metric ton refining cost. Currently the government mandates 30% blending with fossil diesel but continues to trial higher blends in hope of boosting the mandate higher in the future.
