Australia’s Woodside team with KOGAS to study green hydrogen pilot

May 5, 2022 |

In Australia, Australian LNG producer Woodside and Korea Gas Corporation have signed a non-binding agreement to jointly study the technical and commercial feasibility of a green hydrogen pilot project.

The latest agreement builds on a memorandum of understanding signed by the two companies in mid-2018. Since then, Woodside and KOGAS have held a series of joint workshops investigating the potential of hydrogen as a fuel of the future.

The partners now plan to examine the feasibility of a green hydrogen project across the entire value chain, including production, storage, transportation and distribution.
