Indonesia exploring B35 mandate

In Indonesia, Reuters reports the country is contemplating boosting its biodiesel blending mandate to 35%. It has been doing trials on B40 and B50 for the past couple of years in hopes of boosting blending beyond the current 30%. Exports were banned for three weeks but since they have opened up again, palm oil stocks have soared and prices have fallen, so the government is looking for ways to support sales of oil palm for farmers.
