Euglena to supply Oriental Air Bridge with SAF for island tourist flights

In Japan, Euglena Co., Ltd., Oriental Air Bridge Co., Ltd. and JTB Corporation aim to realize a carbon-free society and are sustainable through the promotion of remote islands. They will jointly work on community development. As the first step, JTB planned and released a scenic flight tour over Goto Fukue Island with an ORC aircraft that introduced Euglena’s biojet fuel increase. 

Prior to this initiative, Euglena Co., Ltd. and ORC Co., Ltd. announced a capital and business alliance in 2017 with the aim of realizing SAF flights and further promoting the remote island region of Nagasaki Prefecture. In addition, ORC and JTB have long endeavored to create a new travel style that combines the sustainability, sociality, and topicality of tourism on remote islands in Kyushu.
