Ethanol production and stocks down on the week

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production fell slightly to 1.022 million barrels a day from the week prior, down 21,000 barrels, while stocks also fell to to 23.256 million. A year ago, ethanol production was an average of 36,000 barrels per day lower, yet stocks were half a million barrels higher. Summer driving season is in full gear, which saw the volume of gasoline sold up by 7% over the week before.
