Ukraine’s first biomethane project seen connecting to gas grid by year’s end

In Ukraine, the Odessa Journal reports Chernihivgaz has resolved the connectivity issues of the country’s first biomethane facility at Hals Agro that it will allow it to connect to the gas distribution networks via an 800-meter-long pipeline by the end of the year. The facility pipeline will allow for the transfer of 330 cubic meters of gas, which will later expand to 1,100 cubic meters. Another 8km of gas pipeline will be installed in order to heat 1,500 nearby homes.
