Mubadala Investments seen as front-runner to buy BP Bunge Bioenergia

In the UAE, Bloomberg reports Mubadala Investments is said to have made the best offer for BP Bunge Bioenergia in the final round of negotiations, better than the one made by Raizen who is also in the last stage, but a deal isn’t expected to be made before the October elections in Brazil. The Valor Economico newspaper has estimated that BP Bunge Bioenergia could be worth more than $1.7 billion. None of the parties agreed to comment on the possible transaction.
