Northeast Biodiesel to launch at last on October 1

In Massachusetts, after several stops and starts as well as a request by the board to liquidate and shifting biomass-based blending credits, Northeast Biodiesel is ready to launch on October 1 following a last round of $1.364 million in fundraising over the past year. The new facility will produce 1.75 million gallon per year from used cooking oil. Northeast Biodiesel plans to expand its annual production capacity to 3.5 million gallons gallon per year to supply local and regional markets.
