The Digest’s 2022 Multi-Slide Guide to a highly efficient microalgae-based carbon sequestration system to reduce CO2 emission from power plant flue gas

October 12, 2022 |

The objective of this project is to harness the power of photosynthetic microalgae to maintain a high-pH, high-alkalinity microalgal culture to create a carbon-negative system for carbon dioxide (CO2) conversion to value-added products from power plant flue gas. Feng Chen of the University of Maryland showed these slides at the National Energy Technology Laboratory’s Carbon Management Project Review Meeting in August.
