Superbike wants bikes running on E40 for the 2024 season

In Portugal, The Superbike Commission in early October agreed to introduce sustainable fuel for all WorldSBK classes starting from the 2024 season, with a minimum of 40% sustainable fuel content. This E40 fuel shall be compliant with the specification adopted for MotoGP. The decision was taken amongst other regulations guiding the sport. From F1 to MotoGP, racing sports are looking to quickly decarbonize their races while also innovating fuels and trying to retain energy and cost efficiency.
