India increases ethanol prices to push faster towards E20

In India, the TNN news agency reports that Cabinet voted on Wednesday to raise ethanol procurement prices for ethanol produced from heavy-B and heavy-C molasses as well as from sugarcane juice as it eyes 20% blending from 2025. The ethanol supply year, which currently runs from Dec. 1 to Nov. 30, has been pushed back by a month to be more in line with the sugarcane crush and in turn allow for better flow of payments for sugarcane farmers.
