US biogas is growing quickly — a combination of extensive feedstock resources, a strong policy incentive structure and and ecosystem which has now developed of project developers and financiers. No group has had a more important role as a convener in the sector than the American Biogas Council. At ABLC Next 2022, executive director Patrick Serfass in his ABLC debut gave a backgrounder on the Council and its growth as well as the outlook for the biogas market through 2025.
