In Illinois, Fastmarkets reports soybean oil prices have fallen for the first time in four weeks, helping to boost margins for biodiesel producers above the 10-cent spread where it had fallen to below recently due to higher feedstock prices. Soybean oil stocks were reported to be at a 24-month low in October, which had pushed prices higher, but the November update showed a 9% improvement in stocks, even if they were still down 17% on the year.
