POET to reopen Cloverdale biorefinery in 2023 thanks to year-round E15

In Indiana, WCSI news reports POET plans to reopen its Cloverdale biorefinery next year thanks to the anticipated increase in ethanol blending to 15% from the current 10%. The company has four other ethanol plants operating in the state, but Cloverdale is set to produce around 100 million gallons of ethanol annually. The additional blending is expected to lower fuel prices at the pump, creating additional demand not just in the area near the plants for nationwide.
