GE Aerospace’s GEnxEngine completes ground testing with 100% SAF

GE Aerospace announced on its social media channels that the General Electric GEnx engine had recently completed ground testing on 100% sustainable aviation fuel. The company noted that the SAF testing was carried out in collaboration with NASA. The engine is attached to a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner jet. “These tests help increase understanding of SAF and how it might positively impact air quality compared to conventional jet fuel,” GE Aerospace said.
