PS Energy Group gets ISCC certification for biodiesel products

January 5, 2023 |

In Singapore, Manifold Times reported that Singapore-based fuel and lubricant distributor PS Energy Group said through its subsidiary PS Energy Pte Ltd, it received the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) for its biodiesel products. The company’s biodiesel offerings are used in both marine and land applications, according to the report. An ISCC certification helps customers correctly identify the sustainably sourced from the non-sustainably sourced biofuel offerings. Patrick Ng, the company’s Executive Director, said: “With this recognition, customers of PS Energy are assured of the transparency, traceability, and sustainability qualifications of the biofuel components in the company’s biodiesel offerings. Our biodiesel products only use sustainably sourced Used Cooking Oil Methyl Ester (UCOME).” “With our biodiesel products, we aim to provide our customers options as well as assurance that they are getting the right product to achieve their goals of reducing their carbon footprint,” said Sean Chua, the group’s Managing Director.
