In the United Arab Emirates, Zawya reported that Saudi power generator firm ACWA Power and Indonesia’s state-owned fertilizer producer Pupuk Indonesia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a large-scale green hydrogen project. Pupuk Indonesia PT (Persero) is the largest fertilizer manufacturer in Southeast Asia with a total production capacity of 12.71 million tons per year. Last November, the Saudi company signed a MoU with Indonesia’s state-owned electricity provider PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).
