Ethanol production rises while stocks reach 50-week high

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production rose slightly last week to 1.014 million barrels a day, helping to push stocks to the highest seen in 50 weeks at 26.394 million barrels. Stock build up was seen across the country, with expectation of exports on the way due to increased volumes in the Gulf Coast region. Production increased 4,000 bpd on average from the week before, but it was 12,000 bpd lower than the same period last year.
