Zuari Industries teams with Envient Group to build grain ethanol distillery in UP

In India, the ANI news agency reports Zuari Industries has teamed with Slovakian Envient Group to develop and own a greenfield 150,000 liter per day grain-based ethanol distillery in Uttar Pradesh. The distillery should be online by mid-2024 and already discussions are underway to expand production to 1 million liters per day. Zuari Industries already owns a sugarcane mill in the state, amongst a diversity of other businesses. The project is driven by the government’s push for E20.
