Amplus Solar inks MoU to set up green hydrogen plants in India’s Andhra Pradesh

In India, Solar Quarter reported that Amplus Solar, a provider of clean energy solutions has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh government to set up a decentralized green hydrogen production plants in the state. The company aims to set up 7.5 KPTA-distributed Green Hydrogen plants for industrial consumption in Andhra Pradesh. Sharad Pungalia, managing director and CEO of Amplus Solar said: “We are excited to be a key contributor in achieving India’s goal of being the global Green Hydrogen hub. This MoU is our first step in active participation in the sector’s growth.” “We are committed to deploying our resources in Andhra Pradesh, and we look forward to active support and long-term visibility from the state government, regulatory being one of the key ones. We are confident that with a focused vision, the state can place itself as a growth engine in India’s Green Hydrogen ambitions,” he added.
