SAS launches two ticket types that include biofuel

In Denmark, SAS has launched two ticket types that include biofuel. These will be available on all domestic SAS flights, as well as flights in Scandinavia and Europe.   

SAS aims to use fossil-free aviation fuel equivalent to the consumption on all our domestic flights by 2030. It is a journey we take together with the passengers, by making it even simpler for the travelers to contribute to the goal of more sustainable air travel. Well, we are launching tickets that include the maximum permitted amount of biofuel.

Travelers who buy Go Smart or Plus Pro tickets will be able to buy these tickets with approximately 50% biofuel included, to lower the CO ₂ emissions from their SAS flight.
