Dennis Quaid documentary series to feature Greenbutts cigarette filters

In San Diego, plant-based cigarette filter company Greenbutts reports it will be featured in an upcoming episode of Viewpoint, a long-running educational documentary series hosted by The Parent Trap and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra star Dennis Quaid. 

The episode raises awareness of cigarette filters being the most littered single-use plastic in the world. Greenbutts’s filter alternative is plant-based and certified biodegradable.

“We are excited to have Greenbutts featured in this latest ‘Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid’ short documentary and to have the opportunity to illustrate not only the massive problem of single-use plastic litter in our environment, but also the steps Greenbutts has taken to help solve this issue with regard to the cigarette industry,” Greenbutts says in a press statement.

Viewpoint is distributed nationwide in the United States on major networks, including CNBC, FOX Business, Bloomberg TV, Discovery Channel, History Channel, National Geographic and HLN.
