Global waste-to-energy market to reach $117.2 billion by 2030
In New York, ReportLinker reported that the global market for waste-to-energy (WTE) was estimated at $44.billion last year and is projected to reach a market size of $117.2 billion by 2030.
The research firm said that the WTE market is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 12.8% over the period 2022-2030.
The WTE market in the U.S. is estimated at $13.1 billion in the year 2022. “China, the world`s second largest economy, is forecast to reach a projected market size of $21.4 billion by the year 2030 trailing a CAGR of 13% over the analysis period 2022 to 2030. Among the other noteworthy geographic markets are Japan and Canada, each forecast to grow at 13.4% and 11.9% respectively over the 2022-2030 period. Within Europe, Germany is forecast to grow at approximately 11.9% CAGR,” ReportLinker said.
