Boeing boss says SAF will never achieve the price of jet fuel

In the UK, City A.M reported that the head of Boeing, David Calhoun, has warned that new sustainable biofuels will “never achieve the price of jet fuel.”

However, Calhoun said he believes sustainable aviation fuels have the potential to become more economical.

“I don’t think we will ever achieve the price of Jet A. I don’t think that will ever happen. It is more positive and it will have an impact, but it’s going to be what it’s going to be,” the executive said.
