IRFA wants budget for E15 pumps to increase to $5 million in 2020

In Iowa, the state’s renewable fuel association says the government needs to invest a lot more in converting gasoline pumps to E15, 66% more in fact, to $5 million compared to $3 million spent this year. Currently there are around 230 E15 pumps in Iowa compared to 2012 when there were none but the IRFA says a lot more needs to be done to take advantage of year-round E15 that was finally approved this summer after years of lobbying at the national level.
