December 27, 2022 |

In Virginia, Energy News reports the Western Virginia Water Authority has teamed with Roanoke Gas Company to develop a $7.7 million gas conditioning facility, if approved by the State Corporation Commission before the end of January, that would be the state’s first. The project aims to capture and treat the methane produced at the facility, and then transport it to a natural gas pipeline that will feed it to a hospital, some large companies, and even a medical school, around 12,000 customers.
