USDA grant brings back online Ohio ethanol plant mothballed for two years

In Ohio, the Three Rivers ethanol plant has come back online thanks to an $9 million loan guarantee from the USDA under the Rural Energy for America program. Instead of the facility being scrapped after it had been mothballed, the loan facility allowed new owners to come in and bring the facility back to life, even able to re-hire some of the previous employees.
