Ho Chi Minh City mandates public vehicles use E5

In Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City has decided to mandate all government vehicles and those belonging to state-owned companies to use E5 in an effort to encourage uptake of the fuel among the public. Barely more than 50 stations currently offer E5 despite plans to have more than 160 offering it by the end of June as retailers refuse to invest in new pumps they think won’t pay off.
