EU policies threaten global palm trade, say Malaysia, Indonesia

In Belgium, Malaysian and Indonesian ministers are warning that EU policies are threatening global palm oil trade due to their stringent sustainability criteria for biofuels. They said that the policies impede free trade but stopped short of threatening a WTO case, though the ministers said they would continue to monitor the situation.
