EPA, at last, drops Cello Energy from cellulosic biofuels supplier list for 2011

In Alabama, the Environmental Protection Agency has kicked Cello Energy off of its list of potential cellulosic biofuel suppliers for 2011 partially because it filed for bankruptcy in October, partly because it has had processing issues and because of its past litigation issues relating to fraud. As recently as July, the EPA was expecting the company to provide up to 5 billion gallons of cellulosic diesel in 2011.
