BASF sells Chitosan biopolymers company to Seagarden

In Germany, BASF signed a contract to transfer the Chitosan marine biopolymers business to the Norwegian company Seagarden.  Chitosan marine biopolymers are used in personal care products and as pharmaceutical ingredients.
