Biocom secures 20-year offtake agreement for entire electricity production

In Angola, the national power company Empresa Nacional de Electricidad has signed a 20-year offtake agreement with Companhia de Bioenergia de Angola (Biocom) for the latter’s entire excess electricity supply. The power should provide electricity to 400,000 households when it comes online in January. The president approved the deal in a presidential order in September.
