In Zambia, the Copperbelt Energy Corp is set to develop a biodiesel facility in Kitwe that will produce 1 million liters of fuel daily. The fuel will only be for the utility’s own consumption, however. The company also plans to invest in a bio-gasification plant to power communities without access to grid power.
