Quad County Corn Processors signs Syngenta license for Enogen corn

In North Carolina, Syngenta has licensed Quad County Corn Processors to supply its ethanol plant with grain from Enogen after a three-month trial period. The grain has been modified with an output trait that allows ethanol production to be more efficient. Syngenta is currently collaborating with the QCCP to recruit growers for Enogen grain.
