Toshiba Energy Systems delivers a mobile 30kW hydrogen fuel cell system with a reduced volume per unit output

In  Japan, Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions announced that the company has delivered a mobile 30kW hydrogen fuel cell system to be installed in vessels, railways, and trucks. As a result of their simplified design, Toshiba’s system has reduced the volume per unit power output by ⅓ compared to stationary fuel cell systems. The General Manager of the Hydrogen Energy Business Division at Toshiba stated that “With the high durability of fuel cell systems, Toshiba will develop various hydrogen-related technologies, including not only existing stationary fuel cell systems, but also mobile fuel cell systems, for ships, trains, and cars. Toshiba will continue to spread the use of hydrogen systems.”
