Major European MoU signed to foster the sharing of knowledge and research

In Paris, ONTRAS Gastransport GmbH signed a memorandum or understanding with GRTgaz S.A. and GRTgaz Deutschland to enhance knowledge and research sharing in relation to the transportation and blending of hydrogen and natural gas in their networks. The agreement reinforces cross-border cooperation, and acts a clear indication that there is significant political pull for the deployment of hydrogen and new decarbonization gas solutions. The Managing Director of GRTgaz Deutschland stated that “The mega-project of increasing the share of hydrogen injected into our networks calls for a Pan-European effort. To this end, a Franco-German research co-operation offers great potential for new developments in the gas transportation sector.”
