Ethanol up 23%, biodiesel by 18% in 2010: EIA report

In Washington, the Energy Information Agency has released a new report that shows that use of ethanol during the first six months of 2010 grew by 23.4% while use of biodiesel grew by 18.9%. Overall renewable energy use for power grew by 4.7% and biomass now accounts for 50% of renewable power generation in the US.
