China Integrated Energy acquires biodiesel plant in Chongqing City

In China, China Integrated Energy has bought the 50,000 metric ton biodiesel plant in Chongqing City for $16.5 million from Chongqing Tianrun Energy Development Co., adding to the company’s current 100,000 ton biodiesel production capacity. CIE says that its experience in biodiesel production will increase gross margins at its new acquisition to 30%. It expects the new facility to be up and running by December.
