Biofuels Digest Index slips to 88.32 despite ethanol advance

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dipped 0.05 percent to 88.32 as ethanol recovered. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.39 percent to $36.09, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) jumped back 8.54 percent to $0.89. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) fell 4.10 percent to $31.08. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
