Biofuels Digest Index plunges to 75.43 on Greek debt fears

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 3.04 percent to 75.43 as Greek debt concerns continued to weigh on the markets. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) plunged 4.15 percent to $27.74, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) fell 13.73 percent to $0.44. Among other equities, Bluefire Renewables (BFRE) soared 35.00 percent to $0.27 on news of a financing MOU.. Overall, declines led advances 4 to 1 for the day.
