Centerchem, Amyris sign multiyear Neossance sqalane deal

In Connecticut, Centerchem and Amyris have signed a multiyear deal for Neossance sqalane.   Happi.com quotes Amyris CEO, John Melo, as saying, “We are excited to have joined forces with Centerchem for distribution of Neossance squalane in the United States and Canada… Our squalane gives customers a renewable and reliable alternative source for this best-in-class emollient.”  The sqalane is described as 100% plant sourced, and is both USDA certified as 100% bio-based and Ecocert approved.
