Biofuels Digest Index rises to 60.22 as enzymes, ethanol recover

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, edged up 0.32 percent to 60.22 as enzyme and ethanol shares recovered. For the day, Verenium (VRNM) sagged 1.80 percent to $3.82, while KiOR (KIOR) dumped 14.04 percent to $6.86. Among other equities, Algae.Tec (AEB.AX) lost 13.16 percent to $0.33. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
