Former Alchem ethanol plant in North Dakota being dismantled

In North Dakota, the ethanol plant in Grafton built in 1995 and mothballed in 2007 is being dismantled. Originally the Alchem plant was sold at auction but there were hopes that an Iowa-based investment group would buy it last year and re-launch it as a sugarbeet ethanol facility but the project never matured.
