German biofuels company sets up shop in Nova Scotia to export to Germany

In Canada, Germany’s Biofuel Weiss is building a 7 million gallon per year biodiesel facility in Halifax, Nova Scotia with the entire production destined for the German market. The facility will use used cooking oil as feedstock and has gone through DIN and EN certification processes. Start up should begin by year’s end at a third of production capacity.
