Biodiesel exports soar with more than half heading to Canada

In New York state, biodiesel exports reached a record in August with more than 41,000 metric tons going to Canada, nearly 33,000 tons going to Malaysia and 17,502 tons going to Spain. Exports for the year through August were up 26% on the year at 406,539 tons. Canada is the main destination with more than 220,000 tons heading north so far this year.
