DDG demand driving ethanol margins

In Europe, despite concerns that seasonal changes in ethanol demand would weigh on prices just as margins were beginning to recover, high DDG prices will drive DDG production in Europe. Crush spreads have been weakening for both corn and wheat-based ethanol but DDG is expected to be trading at a premium to corn.
