RFS cuts already forcing some biodiesel to mothball

In Iowa, questions over the future of the RFS are already starting to take their toll on production with Western Dubuque Biodiesel and other plants already idling production in the face of poor margins. The EPA set the biodiesel mandate for 2013 at just 1.28 billion gallons while production was 1.7 billion gallons. Production could be cut by up to 50% nationwide as a result.
