In the UK, Platts is reporting that CropEnergies is preparing to ship 3,800 cubic meters of ethanol to Dublin from its terminal in Teesport. CropEnergies bought the Ensus ethanol plant last year. In Spain, ethanol exports were booked for the first time to Puerto Rico due to low ethanol prices in Europe. About 6,000 cubic meters of ethanol were set to arrive on Jan. 27, likely displacing imports from the US and Brazil. Ethanol has also been shipped from Rotterdam to the UAE with 8,000 cubic meters booked.
