ANP says 549.6 million liters of biodiesel sold during latest auction

In Brazil, the national petroleum agency ANP says that 549.6 million liters of biodiesel was sold at the most recent auction held on Feb. 13 and 14 of a total of 699 million liters offered for sale. The average price was 80 cents per liter. The first day of the auction was restricted to only biodiesel produced by firms holding the social seal, demonstrating inclusion of small farmers in the feedstock supply chain.
